The Project 

The client required an anti static floor finish capable of reading >10 Ohms and not fluctuate readings.  The finish they required was for their new floor area to look hygienic because of the small electronic components, be easy to keep clean and very durable.

Page solved all of their requirements by designing and specifing a smooth, self levellng anti-static resin floor system, that will minimise the downtime when being installed.

The work consiisted of removing all existing carpet tiles and adhesive. The concrete substrate was throughly prepared by our vacuum blastrac machine. A roller coat of our Page Prime AS (An anti static primer) was then installed. Once cured a copper grid was set out before our Page Flow AS self levelling resin applied by trowel to 3mm was laid as per our manufacturers instructions. Demarcation lines were required to identify walkway to prodcution areas as well as the different colour anti static resin.
